Bashir pledges completion of development projects , affirms keenness to realize peace through national dialogue

Khartoum, Mar.22(SUNA)- The Asssitant of President of the Republic, Dr Jalal Yousif Al-Degair discussed during his meeting with British Ambassador to Sudan, Peter Tiber in the Republican Palace Sunday, aspects bilateral cooperation between Sudan and Britain and ways of boosting them further.

Dr Al-Degair said there is strong will to enhance relations between the two countries in all domains.

He acquainted the Ambassador on preparations for upcoming elections, disclosing that the national dialogue adopted by Government will remain a strategic issues with aim to reach solutions to all Sudan crises and issues.

The Assistant of President asserted that Sudan is looking forward to cementing its ties with United Kingdom through establishment of joint economic and investment projects, calling on Britain to play effective role, in the coming stage , in supporting process of political dialogue in Sudan.

The British Ambassador, on his part, affirmed his country keenness to promote ties of bilateral cooperation in a way that servers the common interests in all spheres.

He said that his country is ready to cooperate with Sudan in the various fields, particularly in areas of achievement of peace and stability in Sudan.

The UK Ambassador expressed hope that dialogue between all Sudanese political forces will continue to reach a comprehensive national accord.
