• Khartoum, Sept.6 (SUNA) - The Sudan News Agency (SUNA) has resumed issuance of the English-language Sudanow magazine electronically over the website www.sudanow.info, after a suspension that lasted for four years. The new issue of Sudanow includes several articles on politics, economy, the society, environment, tourism, civilizations and health fields, besides the other regular sections in the magazine

NC and Ruling Party in South Africa Start Talks
• Khartoum, Sept. 6 (SUNA) - The talks between the National Congress (NC) and the ruling party in South Africa started Monday at the NC headquarters, co-chaired by the Chairman of the NC External Relations Sector, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, and the head of the South African delegation who arrived in Khartoum Sunday

• Khartoum, July 28(SUNA) - Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rahmatallah Mohamed Osman has received the representatives of the visiting delegation of the Fifth Committee of the United Nations and briefed them on the levels of coordination between the government and the two United Nation missions in Sudan the UNMIS and UNAMID

The ambassador praised the standing working relations between the two sides, explaining that there were no challenge in the relations between the two sides

He reiterated the government commitment to hold the referendum on time and at the specific date set, urging the United Nations to extend the necessary logistic support as of that it provided to the general elections and which greatly contributed to the success of the process

It is worth mentioning that the visiting UN delegation was in the country to assess the performance of the two missions, the UN funds, programmes and organizations operating inside the Sudan. It will submit its report to the fifth committee of the UN General Assembly to enable it allocates budgets and resources to those missions
