A delegation from the British House of Lords visits the Sudan Sunday

Khartoum,  (SUNA) - A delegation from the UK House of Lords begins a five day visit to the Sudan on Sunday, for talks with the Sudanese parliamentarians and senior official on bilateral relations.

Sudan's ambassador to the UK, Mohamed Abdulla Al tom, told the Sudan news agency the delegation will meet with the vice president, the assistant of the president as well as the minister of Health and the Minister of foreign affairs and other senior officials in Khartoum.

The visiting delegation will also fly to Darfur to get firsthand information about the situation there and meet with officials in the region.

The British delegation will also visit the University of Khartoum to take part in discussion about the peaceful coexistence and the moderate Islam.
