Delegation of House of Lords Visits Headquarters of National Dialogue

Khartoum,  (SUNA) - The visiting delegation of the British House of Lords Tuesday paid a visit to the headquarters of the national dialogue at the Friendship Hall and met with the dialogue's Secretary General, Prof. Hashem Ali Salem, who

acquainted them with progress of the national dialogue at its six committees.
Head of the delegation, Lord Graham Topp, said that their visit to Sudan has given them the opportunity to be informed on the real situation in Sudan.
He said that they will convey what they have seen in Sudan to the British government and parliament, describing their meeting with the National Dialogue Secretariat General as fruitful.
He said that dispute can never solve problems, stressing that dialogue is the single means to resolve problems, referring the British experiment in solving the North Ireland crisis in this regard.
Lord Graham said that the application of the national dialogue outcome will help building confidence between the dispute parties in Sudan.
