Foreign Minister Receives Credentials of Ireland Ambassador

Khartoum,  (SUNA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour, received in his office Monday the Ambassador of Ireland to Sunday, who handed Prof. Ghandour a copy of his credentials.
The two sides discussed progress of the

bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.
The ambassador has appreciated Sudan establishment of an embassy in Ireland for the first time.
The two sides affirmed their keenness to cooperate for enhancing the scientific, economic and cultural relations between the two countries, especially that there is considerable number of Sudanese nationals working in the medical field in Ireland, besides a big number of Sudanese graduates at the Irish universities.
