State Minister for Justice Calls on international community to remove sanctions imposed on the Sudan

Geneva,. (SUNA)- The State Minister for Justice, Tahani Ali Tour El-Dabba, has called on the international community to play its full role in lifting the unjust sanctions imposed on the Sudan and

which have adversely affected the human right situation in the country in the health, education, medical, telecommunication and technological domains.

The Minister who was delivering Sudan's statement before the Human Rights Council in Geneva, during the Ordinary March 2016 Session, pointed to the efforts exerted by the Sudan in the domain of human rights and actions taken for reinforcing them further.

On the other hand the state Minister for justice met with the Director General of the Intellectual Property WIPO on the margin of the meeting of the human rights council.

WIPO director general, Francis Gerry has meanwhile commended the relations between his organization and the Sudan stressing the need to improve them further.

The Minister praised this cooperation and pointed to the many laws and regulations adopted by the Sudan by way of implementing the intellectual property. She invited the WIPO Director to pay a visit to the Sudan which he accepted and the date of which will be decided later.
