President Bashir declares a Sudanese Indonesian Gulf economic cooperation

 Jakarta, (SUNA)- The President of the Republic, Omar Bashir on Monday, announced a tri-partite Sudanese Gulf-Indonesian economic cooperation in which capital, technical expertise and training will be provided along with resources in the agricultural and animal resources, each in accordance with their preferential relevance.

The president has pointed out following his meeting with the

president of Indonesia on the margin of the 5th OIC summit meeting held in Indonesia, that Sudan was ready to respond to the Indonesian demand for halal meats, calling on the Indonesian companies to invest in the various oil and mineral domains in the Sudan.

The Acting Charge affairs at the Sudan embassy in Jakarta, Tariq Abdulla Al tom, has pointed out in statement to the Sudan news agency that the meeting also touched on the situation of the Palestinians and Qods in the occupied Arab Territories and that it reaffirmed the need for cooperation among Muslim countries to stand in the face of the Palestinian plots.

He said the meeting also discussed assistance to charity organizations including the Sheikh Sorkati charity organization and other organizations working in the humanitarian domains.

The president of Indonesian has meanwhile expressed his country's readiness to boost cooperation with the Sudan and its intention to import halal meat from the Sudan and to encourage Indonesian companies to invest in the Sudan.
