Chadian ruling party's delegation arrives in Khartoum

Khartoum,  (SUNA) - A delegation from the National Movement for the Rescue Party, the ruling party of the Republic of Chad, arrived in the country Friday, led by Zachariah Mohamed Salih, the Secretary-General, Second Deputy Chairman of the Party, to hold talks with its counterpart in Sudan, the National Congress Party (NC).
The Head of the Department of Central Africa at the National Congress Mohannad Awad Mahmoud said, in statement to SUNA following the arrival of the delegation, which includes a number of the leaderships of the party, that the delegation would meet the Deputy Chairman of the NC for the Party Affairs Engineer Ibrahim Mahmoud to discuss aspects of the Joint coordination and

to get assured on the progress of the bilateral protocols for the interests of Sudan and Chad.
He added that the delegation program includes a meeting with Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie, the Secretary General of the Council of African Political Parties, referring to arrangement for the delegation meetings with a number of officials including the Wali (governor) of Khartoum State Lt. Gen. Engineer Abdel-Rahim Mohamed Hussein.
He pointed out that the delegation would pay a number of visits and meetings in the framework of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and parties, and praised the development of relations between Sudan and Chad on the basis of mutual cooperation and integration in all domains a matter that will be reflected positively on the peoples of the two countries.
