Canada's Environment Advisor calls on international community to support Sudan efforts in environmental fields

Khartoum,  (SUNA) - The Advisor of the Canadian Government on Environment and Biodiversity, Ramli George, who is specialized in recycling and treatment of waste, has commended the organization of the conference in Khartoum saying it was a vanguard and leading step in this area.

In a statement to the

Sudan news agency about his impressions about the conference, the Canadian specialist said he expects the conference to achieve its objectives, appreciating the efforts deployed by the government of the Sudan in improving the environment in the country.

He underlines the need to boost these efforts and to cooperate to find a solution for the environmental problems, calling on the international community to back the efforts of the government of the Sudan in the environmental field.
