Hassabo Receives Recommendations of First Environment Conference of Khartoum State

Khartoum,  (SUNA)- Vice - President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, Tuesday evening received at Coral Hotel in Khartoum the recommendations of the First Environment Conference in Khartoum State.
The Minister of Environment, Natural Recourses and Urban Development, Dr. Hassan Abdul-Gadir Hilal, has affirmed his keenness to implement the conference recommendations, indicating that the recommendations will be a program for realizing development and

conservation of environment.
The Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali, said that his ministry will include the conference recommendations among the priorities in its plan, indicating that his ministry will cooperate with the Higher Council for Environment for attracting support from the donors and the partners in development.

Meanwhile, a number of heads of the delegations participating in the conference have spoken at the concluding sitting affirming importance of the conference.
They affirmed that the recommendations of the conference will help realization of sustainable development and conservation of environment.
The Secretary General of the Arab Union for Youths and Environment has announced selection of the shelterbelt in Khartoum State as the best environment project in the year 2016.
