Sudan, Poland Sign Joint Cooperation Agreement on Several Fields

vWarsaw , (SUNA)- Sudan and Poland has signed a Joint Cooperation Agreement on domains of agriculture, high education, political coordination , and mutual support at international forums as well as speeding up exchange of diplomatic representation between the two countries soon.

Foreign Minister, Professor Ibrahim Ghandour indicated during talks with

Polish counterpart, Witold Waszczykowski expressed Sudan's awareness with importance of Poland, referring to historic and economic relations between the two countries .

Professor Ghandour affirmed the visit is considered as beginning for cooperation between Sudan and Poland.

He presented a full briefing to Polish Minister on developments of situations in Sudan and progress of national dialogue.
The talks tackled regional issues and role of Sudan in realizing security and peace in the region.

The Polish Foreign Minister underlined that the cooperation agreement will represent a launch for consolidation of his country relations with the Sudan.

Foreign Minister, meanwhile, met with Polish Minister of Agriculture and discussed with him cementing of cooperation in fields of food security, agriculture, and animal resources.

It is worth mentioning the Foreign Minister visit to Poland, which came at invitation of Polish Foreign Minister , is the first of its kind since more than 40 years
