Assistant of the president reaffirms continuation in the political reform programme


The Assistant of the President of the Republic, Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid, head of the government delegation to the peace negotiations,

has reaffirmed government resolve to continue with the political reform programme and the state reform through the initiative of the National dialogue.

He said this initiative has now reached the stage of producing results, stressing that the National Dialogue would continue until the stage of national accord that would be reached by all political forces and until there is full peace and stability in the homeland.

Ibrahim who was briefing the heads of political forces and leadership about the negotiations with the rebels, said the government has expressed its full readiness to deliver relief to the needy but some of the opposition forces wanted the continuation of war and thus frustrating the peace process in the country.

He told the leaders of political forces and leaders that Sudan would remain the stable oasis in the whole African continent despite the challenges.
