Bakri directs Government of South Darfur State to maintain security, impose state authority

The First Vice-President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih has directed Government of South Darfur State to work for maintaining security, imposing the State authority, realizing peace and development , patching the social fabric and conducting the tribal reconciliations.

This came when the First Vice-President met, Monday with the Wali (governor) of the South Darfur State, Engineer Adam Al-Faki.

The Wali said that he briefed the First Vice-President on overall security situations, social peace conferences, and reconciliations being made in the State, noting that the situation in the State is stable.

Engineer Al-Fakai added that he briefed the First Vice-President on Shattaya Conference, which stands as model for social peace conferences as well as on efforts of free repatriation, indicating that the general conference of Shattaya Locality will be held during the coming period.

He further added that he extended invitation to the First Vice-President to visit the South Darfur State to inaugurate a number of development and service projects.
