NCP and Umma Parties Denounce Allegation of Hidden Agendas in Reconciliation Deal [2008-07-06] | | smc: National Congress Party (NCP) and Umma National Party denounced Mubarak Al Fadil Al Mahadi allegation that the reconciliation deal signed between the two parties (NCP and Umma) contains hidden agendas.
NCP secretary for mobilization Ibrahim Ghandour said the reconciliation deal was signed and discussed on opened air. He cited that 14 members from the two parities deliberated on the issues included in the agreement.
However, Ghandour urges Al Mahadi and other parties that have doubts on the deal to be more serious to discuss means of supporting national issues in favor of national consensus.

Government Announces Arrest of Members of Networks Active in Trafficking Human Beings [2008-07-06] | | smc: Government warns there are active gang''s networks trafficking refugees via Sudan into European countries.
Refugees'' commissioner Mohamed Ahmed Al Agbash told (smc) that some members of the networks were arrested and other chased to clean the country from human trafficking phenomenon. He reveals that most of these networks are active on eastern borders exploiting the displacement move from Eritrea and Somalia.
The commissioner said decisive penalties would apply on every person found guilty involved in trafficking human beings.
